Alida Sun
Alida Sun is an artist and critical technologist. Her practice embodies presence, resistance, and adaptation in the age of algorithms. Every day for over 2,600 days she has hand-coded a new generative artwork spanning installation, sound, architecture, textiles, drawing, and light. A figurehead of the FEMGEN movement, she is the first artist to consolidate generative art, blockchain technology, large-scale installation, and live performance. Her works have been exhibited at the UCCA Center for Contemporary Art, the Venice Biennale Decentral Art Pavilion, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, bitforms, Unit London, and media art festivals around the world.
